Pinewood Derby

Pack 156 hosts an annual Pinewood Derby around January. Scouts are encouraged to design and build a car to race down our track. Prizes are given to the fastest cars in addition to various other categories that change from year to year. All cars must meet race rules.

This activity is a great chance for the cubs to learn about wood working, engineering, sportsmanship as well as an opportunity to apply their artistic talents and imagination.
